In Stealthy Flight I Pursued Her
'A pair of eyes watched her as she moved, naked around the room.
At that moment she sensed something for the first time.
It was just a vague premonition of what was about to come...'
J.C. Somoza, Zig Zag
The truth is that 'the future torments us, but it's the past that holds us back'.
Discovering the unknown, she always felt the breath of the past.
She had never lied, but at that moment falsehood was tempting her.
So in six film narratives:
1) she was on the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco
(even though she knew it was a number 1 terrorist target)
2) she filmed pedestrians on the Brooklyn Bridge
(and she suddenly found herself among them and was amazed by this temporal loop)
3) she saw an unknown woman jumping from a cliff on a volcanic island
(and her camera captured the moment)
4) and in the Mojave Desert she saw a bright flash of light
(and stood there petrified)
5) in a small Comfort Inn hotel she saw Him
(James Stewart poring over a photo collection, and she hesitated, because it had been a long time since James...)
6) and she noticed a moth flying restlessly around a lamp
(and she wanted to stick a pin through it, because maybe She – that moth –
was the cause of everything that happened)
'I know well what I am fleeing from but not what I am in search of...'
